About the Position
Reporting to the Country Representative, the Administrative/Finance Assistant will be responsible for the execution of day to day administrative and financial duties to the ICRAF Tanzania Office. This position is for Tanzania nationals only.
The job will specifically include the following duties and responsibilities:
- Coordinate administration issues in collaboration with relevant units at ICRAF.
- Advise and ensure local contracts are in compliance with Tanzanian laws.
- Provide advice and support for visiting scientists and students to acquire necessary work permits in compliance with existing Tanzanian laws.
Terms of offer
We offer a collegial, diverse and gender-sensitive working environment, and we strongly encourage applications from qualified women. This position is remunerated on local terms. The appointment will be for an initial period of three (3) years, subject to a six (6) months’ probation period.
