Doctoral Research Fellow positions in Linguistics

Three PhD positions in Linguistics are vacant at the Department of Linguistics and Scandinavian Studies (ILN), the Department of Literature, Area Studies and European Languages (ILOS) and the Department of Philosophy, Classics, History of Art and Ideas (IFIKK). Priority will be given to projects within the field of multilingualism, contrastive linguistics, corpus linguistics, and language learning/acquisition. Projects concerning translation may also be considered. The research topics should be connected to strong research environments at one of the three departments.

The appointment is for a period of 3 years and the doctoral thesis is expected to be completed within the given time frame.

The person appointed will be affiliated with the Faculty's organized research training. The academic work must result in a doctoral thesis that will be defended at the Faculty with a view to obtaining the degree of PhD. The successful candidate is expected to join the existing research milieu or network and contribute to its developement.
