Duties and Responsibilities
The key responsibilities of the Procurement Officer will include:

• Preparing and updating of annual procurement plan and submitting to the 'EAC Secretariat and the World Bank for approval;
• Participating in the procurement meetings to ensure compliance with EAC Secretariat procurement guidelines;
• Preparing bidding documents in accordance with the EAC Secretariat standards and procedures; and obtaining no-objections from the World Bank;
• Preparing and finalizing Request for Proposals packages;

• Develop and maintain a repository of information for risk management methodology and best practice
• Produce periodic reports including monthly reports for the Country Management Team
