company in Tanzania. As a continually growing, evolving and innovative
business, the position of Human Resources Officer has arisen.
The primary role for the position will be as specified below:
• Assisting in implementation of HR Policies and strategies as may be agreed within the department
•
Participating in recruitment and selection process that is;
advertising, short listing, interview, preparation of offer letter and
induction process
• Ensure timely filling and updating of staff documents
• Updating line managers on leave position of their department on quarterly basis
• Handling staff pension contributions in NSSF and PPF
• Consolidate payroll inputs for end of the month salary preparation
• Handling staff transitions, preparation of transfer letters and advising staff accordingly
• Participate in staff disciplinary issues and advise staff the outcome or decisions on the same accordingly
• Participation in termination process from end to end to ensure compliances
• Provide HR/Administrative support as required, word and data processing
•
Ensuring cost effectiveness and ordering of all office stationery and
sundries in line with usage and re order levels and ensure timely
replenishment
• Compiling monthly HR Report
• Processing and follow up of work permits for non residence
• Ensuring offices and company compounds are clean
The key skills the successful applicant must display are;
• The ability to prioritise tasks within strict deadlines
• Knowledge of understanding Tanzania Employment labour laws
• Good negotiating skills
• Be computer literate
• The ability to ‘multi task’ effectively under pressure
