Responsibilities
- Demonstrates knowledge and competency assisting in Cath Lab procedures including: Cardiac catherizations, Temporary pacemakers, and Intra-aortic balloon pumps
- Coordinate the planning for delivery of nursing care with a multidisciplinary team and administer appropriate clinical decisions in the delivery of cardiac care
- Demonstrate knowledge and competent practice of cardiac monitoring, normal and abnormal heart functions/cardiac rhythms
- Demonstrate knowledge and competency in use of procedure medications including emergency drugs, moderate sedatives and reversal agents
- Demonstrate knowledge and practice of room and equipment preparations
- Demonstrate knowledge and practice of infection control practices
- Demonstrate knowledge and practice of patient rights, communicating effectively to patients and families about procedures

Ensure proper management of original placements of livestock and other resources in assigned projects,
