2013 HEC MBA Need Based Scholarship in France

HEC announces Need Based Scholarships to join MBA  program at HEC Paris. The amount of the scholarship varies from €6,000 to €24,000. All MBA applicants can apply for this Need-Based scholarship. Applicants can submit their applications on rolling basis. No full scholarship is available from HEC.

Eligibility: All MBA applicants can apply for this Need-Based scholarship. Please note that applicants cannot apply to both HEC Excellence Scholarship and HEC MBA need-based Scholarship. Student may also apply to these additional scholarships: Alcatel-Lucent scholarship, Eiffel scholarship, Forté scholarship, L’Oréal scholarship, Rainbowbridge scholarship.
Scholarship Open for International Students: All HEC MBA students can apply for this scholarship.
Scholarship Description: The HEC MBA Need-Based Scholarships are designed for only those applicants who require financial assistance to achieve their goal of joining the MBA program at HEC Paris. These awards are their way of attracting quality participants who otherwise would be unable to attend without this support. If applicant are unsure of which scholarship to apply for (Need-Based or Excellence), HE Paris would encourage them to apply to HEC Excellence Scholarship.

What does it cover? The amount of the scholarship varies from €6,000 to €24,000. 4 different amounts can be awarded:
€6,000- the amount of the initial deposit
€12,000- 25% of the total tuition fees
€18,000- the amount of the last installment
€24,000- the amount of the first installment.
All scholarships awarded will be deducted from the last tuition payment. In addition, HEC scholarships only cover tuition fees for courses taken on the HEC campus. No full scholarships are available from HEC.
Selection criteria: Candidates must complete an application which includes an essay and submit a detailed description of their financial circumstances as well as a cash-flow forecast for the 16-month duration at HEC.
Notification: Decisions will be announced a week after the admissions jury decision.
