Company profile:
The client we are recruiting for has set up several businesses in and around Arusha, Tanzania. One of them is a printing company that has specialized in printing advertisement and embroidery of textiles for commercial purpose. They have an innovative approach to providing high quality print communication at affordable prices. The production factory has several large used and new printers ready to boost production.

The sales team currently exists of three sales people. The other staff exists of designers, printers, embroiders, drivers, a cleaner and a store manager, all managed by the General Manager. The company has enormous potential and is looking for a Sales & Marketing Manager that is willing to work together with the Dutch COO. The company is Tanzanian owned.
Job description:
The Sales and Marketing Manager is responsible for the following:
• you work together with the General Manager who manages the production floor
• you will be the counterpart of the COO and part of the management team
• will be overseeing and managing the Sales team of 3 FTE
• will be visiting existing and new potential customers
• responsible for sales budgeting, targets and result
• responsible for a high level of quality of communication and product
• sets up store branding & marketing
Requirements:
• Minimum BA in communication, management, sales or marketing
• Language: Fluent English and preferable Kiswahili
• Experience: Min 2-3 years in a commercial function
• Leadership & Supervision experience
• Preferably previous Africa experience
• Age preferably between 25 and 35
Profile:
Somebody that wants to work in a different environment with a lot of patience - good communication skills – authority – a lot of energy and willing to make long days. The candidate needs to be a strong personality that knows what he / she wants. Have great eye for detail and is not scared to speak up.
As a manager you will have a lot of freedom to explore and initiate own initiatives. We are looking for a positive and creative person that is a self-starter. All new ideas are welcome! You will be working in an open environment where all improvement, also small ones, are appreciated.
The person we are looking for is an entrepreneur that likes to work under pressure and can translate plans into reality. He / she needs to be able to deliver quality under strict deadlines. Great communication skills will be needed. We are looking for a team player.
Terms of employment:
• Starts as soon as possible
• Contract for 3 months
• Salary/Remuneration $ 500 net per month
• 8-10 hours shifts, 1 off day per week
• Permit for Tanzania
• Accommodation, vehicle, phone, laptop
• Petrol and phone allowance
After the probation period there is a possibility to sign a two year contract.
• Contract for 2 years
• Salary/Remuneration $ 900 net per month
• Bonus of $ 2.400 after finishing contract
• 8-10 hours shifts, 1 off day per week
• Work Permit for Tanzania
• Accommodation, vehicle, phone, laptop
• Petrol and phone allowance
• Bonus arrangement, to be discussed with the employer
