Radio Programming and Optimizing Manager~Tigo Tanzania

Ensures that radio network elements are properly managed and high quality of the service is produced and met other KPIs.
 
Core responsibilities
 

  • Radio Network Optimization
Define and review network optimization routines and radio engineering guidelines and its implementation through the operation team.
 
  • Radio Network Design
Review and define all radio design parameters as well as radio assumptions to carry out the nominal cell design, including BTS/antenna configurations and requirements, standard cell sites, appropriate design coverage levels and link budget documentations and necessary BSS features.
 
  • Organize TSS for new sites.
Deliver technical site survey report on time and ensuring the choice of the right site candidates from a radio standpoint.
 
  • HR and Training
To deliver a proper radio planning and Optimization organization and perform training on the job to the radio teams
 
  • Tools
Provide planning standard formats, flags and filters and relevant digital mapping data requirements and ensure that the Radio Planning tool and Network Statistics tool are updated at all times.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Bsc. in Telecommunication Engineering Msc. is an added advantage
  • GSM, cellular technologies, project management, basic financial understanding, excellent tracking skills
  • 5 years experience in Radio Network Engineering
