JOB TITLE: Stores Officer (2)
DUTY STATION: Dar Es Salaam
REPORTS TO: Chief Accountant
ROLE PURPOSE STATEMENT:
Administration of catering warehouses including receiving, storing, issuing, dispatching and accounting for stock to ensure a safe, reliable, secure and lean supply chain for Precision Air Services.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITY/RESPONSIBILITIES
•Ensure all warehouses and sub stores are properly run as per policy and procedures to ensure safety and security of stock and minimize losses/wastage.
•Monitor receipt, storage, stock control and record keeping and to initiate inquiries into variances.
•Ensure issues of materials to user is effected timely and accurately so as to support user satisfaction.
•Prepare sales authorization notes for obsolete goods to ensure accountability on disposal.
•Ensure In-flight material returns are re-cycled to minimize wastage.
•Ensure that all catering for outstation demands are met.
•Produce relevant daily, weekly and monthly reports for management review.
•Maintain consistency on quality standards.
•Undertake Staff and departmental management tasks like control of budgets and staff welfare and development.
•Perform related duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Expenditure Accountant

JOB TITLE: Expenditure Accountant (1)
DUTY STATION: Dar Es Salaam
REPORTS TO: Chief Accountant
ROLE PURPOSE STATEMENT:
To manage suppliers’ payment process to ensure Precision Air Services gets favorable credit terms
and continuous supply of goods and services. To manage the company’s accounts payable ledgers and the proper accounting of expenditure in compliance with sound accounting principles and company policies
KEY ACCOUNTABILITY/RESPONSIBILITIES CREDITORS
•Effective management of the company’s creditors portfolio;
•Analysis of the aged creditors accounts and preparation of creditors accounts reports to management;
•Effective payment of creditors balances ensuring optimal cash utilization.
•Ensuring prompt payment of staff expense claims;
•Maintaining good relationship with suppliers by advising them on their status of payment and resolving all the disputes
•Maintaining appropriate contacts and communication with all suppliers;
•Monthly reconciliation of all creditors accounts to individual supplier statements;
•Follow up and resolution of supplier queries and complaints;
•Processing of all payments into the general ledger;
•Preparing weekly, monthly and quarterly cash flow projections indicating how much will be paid out to assist in cash planning purposes for decision making on optimal utilization of funds in investment and borrowing.
•Ensuring compliance with Various Tax Authorities requirements and law on all payments made for both local and international suppliers.
•To ensure all the statutory, regulatory, leases and loans are paid by their due dates to avoid defaulting and being charged interest and penalties.
OTHERS
•Working with the Internal Audit team to ensure that sound internal controls are established and adhered to;
Any other duties as may be assigned by the Chief Accountant

Key Responsibilities include:
• Oversee the process of sourcing, vetting and drawing up contracts with office services suppliers/vendors
• Maintain a list of all suppliers/vendors and ensure renewal of annual contract
• Achieve value for the firm in all procurement activities
• Maintain high quality and image of office infrastructure (office space and fixtures, desktops, printers, photocopiers, etc)
• Manage office assets through fixed assets register, asses movements records and carry out a bi-annual physical verification
• Oversee logistic support for staff travel, movement and/transfers
• Manage and maintain a clean, tidy and hygienic office and all other related facilities (washrooms, kitchen, common areas)
